QG 2009 Details

Hello QG 2009 Attendees
This year we are meeting in Packwood, WA. As an added bonus again this year, Aunt Jo has reserved a lodge in the area to help reduce individual travel time to and from a central site and likely lodging costs -- which means more opportunity to socialize and reconnect! Later today, directions will be emailed out to each of the email addresses currently on our list. If you have a guest who needs this info, please forward your email on to them, or tell them to check this blog.... or send us your friends' email address and we can add them to the list.
We have approximately 14 attendees this year. And we all need to eat. So, to make sure we don't end up with 18 loaves of bread and no fillings, will you each please let us know what you intend to bring so we can coordinate or redistribute as necessary?
For a gathering project this year, we are going to decorate plain aprons. (You could keep this for yourself, or make an early Christmas gift for somebody else!) Bring along any ribbons or patches or buttons or associated bling that you might want to use. Aprons will be provided.
We will also have games and activities for quilters and non-quilters. I know of an audio book and a puzzle that will be making an appearance.
Goody bins (aka Gram's project roaster tin): This year we would like to ask everyone to bring one small thing to put into each bin -- it can be quilting related or not, can be homemade, from the dollar store, or perhaps from remote Alaskan villages.
